This week I thought I would try one more tenderloin sandwich before giving up. The Butler Cafe in Bondurant, Iowa (114 Brick St SE, Bondurant, IA), was not a disappointment. The tenderloin runs around $8 and comes with amazingly delicious sidewinder fries that I dipped in their home made ranch dressing. The also offer a cold mug root beer that I would also encourage. This tenderloin, unlike the norm is not big and flat, it is big and fat. The meet on this sandwich could easily be mistaken as chicken at first glance. The Buttler Cafe is busy and a little noisy do to the fact it is open to the market but it is a quaint atmosphere that draws a lot of the locals. I gave it a 8 out of 10 but if I based it just on food quality it would be higher.
